Seaside Capital provides Dalhousie students interested in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Equity Research with the technical knowledge to succeed in their respective industries. Students will learn fundamental skills in Excel and PowerPoint and leverage them to build financial models (Three Statement, Discounted Cash Flow, Leveraged Buyout, and M&A).

The group employs a value investing ethos seen from legendary investors such as Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Peter Lynch, and more. Each semester, Seaside Capital delivers multi-thesis stock pitches on undervalued or unloved companies, accompanied by an internal mock M&A pitch competition.
