Portfolio Manager
Portfolio Managers (PMs) are responsible for overseeing a specific asset class within the Maritime Fund (DALIS’s paper fund). Portfolio Managers are allocated a portion of the fund to invest and are responsible for executing each trade, supported by a well constructed thesis and sound reasoning. PMs are also expected to contribute to the monthly DALIS newsletter.

PMs host the weekly Maritime Fund Lecture Series alongside their analysts to highlight trade ideas and strategies. Additionally, PMs are expected to provide learning portions in each meeting to ensure that all DALIS members not only remain up to date, but also leave meetings having learned something new.

Portfolio Analyst
As a Junior Analyst, your primary responsibility is to assist Senior Analysts with investment pitches and to provide timely updates on market news and trends that could impact portfolio positions. You will also be expected to actively engage in the Bloomberg Trading Lab, contribute to portfolio discussions, and maintain a proactive role.

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Portfolio Managers by assisting in the preparation of materials for weekly group meetings, generating multiple trade ideas, pitching during weekly meetings, and contributing to The Schooner (DALIS's monthly newsletter). In addition, you will also mentor Junior Analysts.
